I have an attitude of Gratitude. I am thankful for so many things in my life, and I don’t verbally express them well. At all. So because I’ve been open to a new personal project for quite a while, I’ve decided to document one thing every day that I am grateful for.
I am sure this will not be easy for me. This is not about amazing, mind bending photography, this is about what’s inside me and sharing my gratitude with the world . . paying it forward.
I hope you enjoy this. I hope it inspires you to look inside yourself and take notice of the many blessings in your life. Negativity is easy and is a self fulfilling prophecy in my opinion, but making the choice to be positive and open minded, and express an attitude of gratitude is a self fulfilling prophecy too and will bring many more blessings back into your life.
Day 1, Monday June 18, 2012
Sunset from the water, at the end of another gorgeous day. There are no words for sight like this.
Day 2, June 19, 2012
Family. In all it’s forms. I can’t imagine living my life without every single member of my family. And their toys 🙂
This is Bobby. Bobby is 9 years old and has been *my* boy since he was 7 weeks old. The soccer ball has been Bob’s best friend his entire life. Not the same ball of course, but if one of his soccer balls meets with an accident, a trip to WalMart is made asap because that dog is in SERIOUS love with soccer balls!!
Day 3, June 20, 2012
Today I am thankful for the rain. It breaths life into all living things. It’s makes me NOT feel guilty for sleeping late. It cleans the yellow pollen dust that I’m SO allergic to off of my car and everything else. It fills the dogs water bowls so I don’t have to. Ditto the pool. It makes me think about things and people that I normally don’t think about. As much as I am the first person to tell you that I live in paradise with our gorgeous natural beauty here and the incredible amount of sunshine that lights my life everyday, I AM grateful for rainy days too!
Day 4, June 21, 2012
The colors. No other words needed!
Day 5, June 22, 2012
Karma . . my little buddy. He smiles at me (really, he does) and he keeps me company. He’s always energetic and happy and he sees everyone as a friend.
Day 6, June 23, 2012
I am so thankful the experiences I have had in my life. Warren and I love to travel, and of course I don’t leave home without my camera, so we have some beautiful images of the places we’ve been. This image is a wall in Talin, Estonia. Estonia is a fabulous country on the Baltic Sea, which borders with Russia. I’m not a huge fan of Russia, but I’ve been there an experienced it, and it is what it is, but I LOVED Estonia. This is an actual wall that we found in our explorations –
